What we know

Santa Fe station at 6,780 feet (1906); 'three miles south of Monument', with a section house and water tank (1890), or 'one mile south' (1892); its siding shipped 223 carloads of produce in a year (Hall); named for John W. Pring, whose family ranched near the station from 1878; its depot became Palmer Lake's joint depot.
