What we know
The D&NO station of 1882 was McConnellsville: 64 miles from Denver 'on summit of the Divide', about 150 residents in July 1882. Easton's post office moved to it and, said Hobbs, was renamed Eastonville because 'Easton' was too like 'Eaton'. PO Eastonville 1883-1932; Hobbs (1950) on its trains, stores and the 1935 flood. Easton's own first site is separate and not yet placed. Cemetery at 39.016, -104.606.
