Eastonville Episcopal church (moved)

ChurchesHistoric or vanishedEl Paso County

What we know

Shell of Eastonville's Episcopal church, with its Gothic windows, used as a barn and abandoned by 1976 (PPLD record of survey B6). Whether it survives is not known. John Liebi bought the church and moved it in 1917 to his ranch west of town (von Ahlefeldt pp. 64, 125); by 1914 it had served as the town hall (photo, p. 61).

Where it was

'Moved from its former location to Eastonville Road just as it jogs east to meet the Sweet Road' (PPLD record of survey photo B6); that jog in OpenStreetMap (2026-10-05). The church's first site in Eastonville is not placed.

A feature drawn in OpenStreetMap, such as a park or a lake.
