What we know

Patented three months after 'McConnellsville' (Eastonville's station name) first appears; a link to that name, or to a McConnell sawmill on Judy von Ahlefeldt's map, is unproved.

Where it was

Centroid of A. B. McConnell's patent of Aug. 30, 1882 (E1/2 NE Sec. 19; W1/2 NW Sec. 20, T11S R65W), read from the BLM record (S-0080). The house's spot within the land is unknown.

Placed from a written description, such as a land section, a distance from a landmark or an old survey note.
