What we know

A corral attributed to Capt. Randolph Marcy's expedition after the blizzard of April 30, 1858, later used by freighters' oxen and mules hauling lumber from the Finley mill on Black Squirrel Creek (von Ahlefeldt p. 20, from the Voorhees diary).

Where it was

'Brush Corral Camping Place': Scott, Historic Trail Map of the Denver 1x2 Quadrangle (USGS I-2639, 1999, S-0106), symbol read from the reprojected sheet good to a few hundred feet); shares Scott's symbol with Weir Mill. von Ahlefeldt: 'very near' Latigo's equestrian center and the Weir Mill (p. 97).

Read from Glenn R. Scott's USGS historic trail map of 1999 and confirmed by a second, independent source.
