## What we know

Last home of Katrina Wolf Murat (1824-1910), whom the library's record calls 'the first European woman in Denver' and the maker of 'the first United States flag in Colorado' (PPLD record of survey B46). She came in the spring of 1887 and died here on March 13, 1910 (Sabin, S-0019 p. 52; the PLHS page; Wikipedia, which notes the DAR boulder on her grave in Denver reading '1824-1910'). The library's record gives 1919.

## Where it was

'At Glenarm and Highland Road in Palmer Lake' (PPLD record of survey photo B46); that junction in OpenStreetMap (2026-10-05). Sabin and the PLHS page put the cottage 'below Sundance Mountain', which fits this junction; the record's biography alone says Glen Park.

Placed from a written description, such as a land section, a distance from a landmark or an old survey note.
