## What we know

Little beyond its location so far.

## Where it was

Read from the 1956 Douglas County map inset of Larkspur with handwritten labels (Larkspur Book 1, Larkspur Historical Society binder 1 p. 220), georeferenced from its Secs. 27/28/33/34 corner (T9S R67W) and its 0.3-mile scale bar; good to about 200 feet. The same method puts the map's 'School' within 300 feet of GNIS's Larkspur post office, the old school building. Marr: 'The Federation of Human Rights built their headquarters in these pines west of town, and their members lived in the surrounding cabins' (Larkspur Historical Society binder 1); the 1956 map labels it 'American Federation' west of the Santa Fe tracks.

Placed from a written description, such as a land section, a distance from a landmark or an old survey note.
